Kena,

Which version of NeXpose are you using? I was unable to view your attached screenshot, but NeXpose Community is limited to 32 IP's. If you are trying to run discoveries across subnets larger than a /27, then you will receive an error message that you are not licensed to scan that many IP's.

Chris

Hi,

I am trying to install NeXpose on Slackware 13.1_64.

When I try nsc.sh, I get the following error for initializing nxpgsql:

*PostgresInst2010-09-29T02:02:56 Initializing PostgreSQL database*
*NSC 2010-09-29T02:02:56 A critical error occured during

I have both nxpgsql user and group.

I cannot figure out what is causing the problem.

Any comment is appreciated.

Thanks.
Ali

Are you running 64bit? If so, did you include ia32-libs?

Also, Slackware is not a supported platform, so you may have some real snags: http://community.rapid7.com/redmine/projects/nexpose/wiki/General_FAQ

Nexpose,

My name is Kena Baity and I work for World Fuel Services. I recently attempted to use Nexpose to run a DISCOVERY scan a rather large number of our internal subnets trying to determine where are assets were located and how many there were. However, I was unable to do so because of the following:

Can someone please contact me and let me know what my limitations are in regards to performing DISCOVERY scans?
