It seems that you may be scanning assets that do not have enough externally running services for a fingerprint to be determined. Take a look at the nse.log (or log.0, log.1) and see what was posted when the fingerprint was being attempted.

Subject: Operating System Information

Hi,

I run Scan on 4 remote systems. Nexpose detected following operating systems

*         NetworksAOK embedded  - for 1 system

*         Unknown - for 2 systems

Can you please explain:

* What does NetworksAOK embedded OS means?

* Why nexpose unable to detect operating system? What are the possible reasons and what we can do more to find the OS information

Looking forward for kind response.

Regards,
Kashif
